2015 Savigny les Beaune, Domaine Chanson, Burgundy, France

Savigny les Beaune is a small village adjacent to Beaune, and produces wines that give its illustrious neighbour a real run for its money.

Domaine Chanson were particularly happy with their red grapes in 2016 which have developed beautiful aromas of ripe red and black berries with a rich, fruit laden texture. The wine was aged in barrel for 16 months and the result is a wine layered in fruit, smoky spice and gentle tannins.
