In 2005 Muzard went organic in their vineyards and gained certification for biodynamic farming with the 2008 vintage. Their decision to work biodynamically was taken to sustain and improve the health of their land. It has also had a noticeable effect on the wines as the quality and complexity has evolved beautifully over the years.
Intensely crimson, this is a very aromatic wine, with delicious notes of blackcurrant, blackberries, and almonds. The mouth is ample and powerful with moderately formed tannins. Beautiful length in this wine, which will improve for several more years.
