Brief ageing in large old oak fourdres helps to soften and add texture to this lovely white without any oak flavour influence. There is some delicate fruit and lovely minerality here making this a great food wine.
A small, 5.5 hectare estate in the middle of Davaye Ludovic is the 4th generation to run the domaine. The winery is modern but the winemaking is traditional using a mix of old oak foudre and barrels to ferment the wines. The wines themselves show a good amount of fruit with really well integrated oak and loads of drinkability.
