This is a full-throttle Chardonnay from the south of France. It has been matured in new oak barrels and has undergone full malolactic fermentation, so this is definitely a wine for lovers of richer, more creamy textured Chardonnays. The balance, however, is absolutely spot-on, so the fruit is still very much still to the fore. You get a lot of wine for your money here, and it will certainly impress at a dinner party.
