Boatyard Double Gin - 70cl bottle
Organically-produced wheat spirit is macerated for 18 hours with eight different botanicals, including Sweet Gale harvested from the family farm. As the spirit runs off the still it undergoes a unique juniper filtration process, which Dutch gin spirit distillers call ‘dubbel gebeide genever’. This double-contact method results in a pronounced juniper flavour. The spirit has pure water added to it before it is rested for a minimum of two weeks and then bottled at 46% ABV.

Golden amber colour. Aromas of citrus and stonefruits open to layers of candied fruits. Some quince jelly and marmalade matched with integrated sweet oak. Boatyard Vodka - 70cl bottle
Malted Irish wheat is steeped in hot water to produce a sugary liquid known as 'wort'. Once this is cooled, Champagne yeast is added and left to ferment for seven days. The resulting alcoholic liquiid, the 'wash', is then distilled three times in our 500 litre 'Mr Gusion' still to 96% ABV. Finally, purified water is added to the high-strength alcohol to bring it down to a smooth 41% ABV.

Crafted with six Arctic botanicals from the northern Quebec, Ungava gin will make any cocktail uniquely wild. The rare botanicals are hand-foraged, dried, and then slowly steeped for five weeks for a natural extraction of complex flavour and colour. The result is a gin unlike any other – a reward for the senses with its exceptionally smooth taste, signature colour and 100% natural ingredients.
The name Ungava is of Inuit origin and translates as ‘towards the open water’. The Ungava Peninsula, where most of the botanicals are found, is abounding with the flora, fauna and wildlife of Hudson Bay.
