2019 Puligny Montrachet 'Le Trezin', Gerard Thomas, Burgundy, France

Gerard Thomas et Filles are producing exceptional wines at the moment and this Puligny Montrachet is a great example of their great talent. The combination of natural vibrant acidity from this higher altitude vineyard and well managed barrel ageing ha resulted in a wine with great complexity and finesse. A gentle foral aroma, with a hint of spice in the background leads to a palate of layered fruit and spice with a lovely fresh citrus note on the finish.
