2022 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Champ Gain, Domaine Gaëlle et Jérôme Meunier, Burgundy, France

This is simply exceptional. Gaëlle et Jérôme Meunier's flagship white is one of the finest we have tried in a long time, and for a 1er Cru white Burgundy of this quality it is very reasonably priced. It is wonderfully concentrated, with layers of fruit leading to a zesty citrus burst on the finish. There is some beautifully gauged oak that adds to the depth and complexity. It's delicious right now and has the concentration to mature gracefully for 6-7 years.
