Mature Sauternes is a real treat, and at over 60 years old we can certainly now call this mature.
It's deep coloured, and now showing off some really deep stewed tropical fruits and marmalade on the nose. It's soft and rounded with more intense spice marmalade on the palate.
- Very good fill level, right at the top of the shoulder. There is a good amount of cellar dust on the bottle and label, but the label is intact and fully discernable.
