The 2022 Felino Cabernet Sauvignon from Viña Cobos is a vibrant and expressive Argentine red sourced from vineyards in Luján de Cuyo and the Uco Valley, two of Mendoza’s most respected sub‑regions. Viña Cobos was founded by the acclaimed American winemaker Paul Hobbs to explore terroir‑driven expressions in Argentina and is known for producing wines that combine varietal purity with balanced structure.
Tasting Notes:
Deep ruby in colour with dark tones, the wine opens with aromas of fresh red fruits, red pepper and white pepper hints. On the palate, juicy blackcurrant and dark cherry fruit mingle with subtle spice and savoury notes, leading to a rounded and balanced finish with supple tannins.
Winemaking:
Fermentation is carried out with selected and native yeasts in temperature‑controlled stainless steel tanks, and the wine is matured in French oak barrels to integrate structure and flavour.
