Description
A vibrant English white from Tuffon Hall in Essex, made from Bacchus grown on the estate’s vineyards in the heart of East Anglia. Fresh, aromatic and expressive, it showcases the varietal’s signature lift and purity in a precise, modern English style.
Tasting Notes: Pale and bright in the glass, the nose opens with lifted aromas of elderflower, honeysuckle and freshly cut grass, followed by notes of gooseberry and zesty lime. The palate is crisp and lively, with vibrant citrus and green fruit flavours supported by refreshing acidity, leading to a clean, mouth-watering finish with subtle floral undertones.
Winemaking: Made from carefully selected Bacchus grapes grown on the estate, with a focus on preserving aromatic intensity and natural freshness. Gentle handling and cool fermentation help retain the wine’s expressive fruit character and signature English vibrancy.
Food Pairing: Ideal as an apéritif, and a natural partner for fresh salads, seafood, asparagus and light vegetarian dishes. Its bright acidity and aromatic lift also work well with goat’s cheese.
ABV: 11.5%
