Description

A bright and expressive Sauvignon Blanc from the eastern Loire Valley, this AOP Reuilly from Domaine Aujard sits just west of Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé, in an appellation known for producing wines of clarity, freshness and understated finesse. Carefully crafted from vines grown on the region’s characteristic limestone and flint-rich soils, it captures the pure, mineral-driven style that defines the best of the Loire.

Tasting Notes:
Pale gold in the glass, the nose is immediately vibrant and aromatic, opening with notes of citrus zest, green apple and white peach, alongside a subtle exotic lift of passion fruit and elderflower. The palate is crisp and precise, combining juicy orchard fruit with a clean, mouth-watering acidity. A gentle herbal edge and flinty mineral character emerge on the finish, adding definition and length while maintaining a refreshing, focused style.

Winemaking:
Produced from Sauvignon Blanc in the Reuilly appellation, where continental conditions and limestone soils help preserve aromatic intensity and natural freshness. Fermentation is carried out to retain purity of fruit expression, resulting in a wine that balances ripe character with bright, linear acidity and a distinctly Loire mineral profile.

Food Pairing:
Highly versatile, this wine pairs beautifully with seafood such as smoked salmon, grilled mackerel or tuna, as well as fresh goat’s cheese and herby vegetable dishes. It is equally enjoyable on its own, where its freshness and aromatic lift can be fully appreciated.

ABV: 14%
