2023 Grillo IL Salinaro, Pellegrino, Sicily, Italy

Brilliant straw yellow in colour. Fine scents of citrus blends with strong floral notes of jasmine and orange blossom. The palate is fresh and balanced, with notes of grapefruit and lemon, softened by hints of vanilla. Salinaro - "vineyard by the sea" 14 ha of vineyard metres from the sea with a climate suited to producing a fresh and aromatic white made from Grillo. To retain its fresh, aromatic style the wine is fermented in stainless steel at cool temperature. It's then aged in the vats for a few months on the lees before bottling.
