Château Coutet was acquired by Charles le Guerin, Lord of Coutet, in 1643 and is one of the oldest Sauternes producing vineyards; Ranked as a First Growth Premier Cru (1er-Cru) in Bordeaux' famed 1855 Classification of the Medoc.
Candied orange, baked peach, pineapple, honeycomb, and brown sugar. The palate is deep and unctuous, orange cream, candied pineapple, peach, honeycomb, brown sugar syrup, full bided with some bitters on the finish. Great caressing texture, so smooth and really showing such nice maturity yet still being fresh and lively.
