This 100% Chardonnay wine is vinified and aged in small barrels, and benefits from an exceptionally long time of maturation. Recently disgorged with very low dosage, it reveals all the purity and the depth of this great wine of champagne and of this year of 2012
This is a 14 hectare family estate in Le Mesnil sur Ogier dating back to the 1900s. A wide use of Oak for fermentation gives complexity and richness while the blocking of malo helps retain the crispness of a great Champagne. Their rosé is a saignée method made from Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and is a lovely deep colour and full of flavour. The 2 whites are 100% chardonnay aged for 4-5 years for the Jardins and 6-8 years for the Terre de Mesnil and both are Grand Cru.
