Thanks to the cooling air currents off the southern oceans, the Cape region of South Africa has long been considered an ideal spot for Sauvignon Blanc, and we're now seeing some excellent examples. The Cape Wild Sauvignon is one such. It's lively and fresh, with soft tropical fruit. It's a little lighter in acidity than some giving it a more rounded texture. There is, however, a lovely note of citrus in the background keeping it vibrant and zesty.
