A very classy claret that is now reaching its peak drinking window. There is some vivid fruit on the nose with a hint of licorice and spice in the background. The palate is concentrated and long, with currant and damson notes. The spice again comes through on the finish. The tannins have softened and are now very fine grained. This offers a lot of drinking pleasure.
