2016 Field Blend, Maurizio Garibaldi, Maipo Valley, Chile

Vineyard is 41km from the coast at an altitude of 800m on a weathered granite hillside. It’s a composition of 56% Malbec, 36% Syrah, and 8% Durif. Before bottling, the wine is aged for 20 months in French oak, followed by a further two years in bottle before release. This wine has an aging potential of at least 12 years.
