Tasting Notes:
Bright ruby in colour, the nose reveals aromas of dry plums and black cherry. On the palate it is velvety and well balanced, with flavours of cherry and subtle raisin notes supported by ripe tannins. A hint of smokiness and spice adds complexity, while the finish remains smooth and fruit-driven.
Winemaking:
Fermented in stainless steel with controlled skin maceration and malolactic conversion, the winemaking focuses on preserving varietal character and balance. Minimal oak influence allows the natural fruit and spice profile of Fetească Neagră to shine, delivering a wine of freshness and approachability.
Food Pairing:
Serve slightly cooled at 16–18°C with red meat, grilled dishes or hard cheeses. It is also enjoyable on its own or alongside rich vegetarian cuisine.
