2022 Chardonnay, Domaine de la Baume, Languedoc, France

This was the standout Chardonnay when we were on a hunt for one from southern France. It's unoaked, yet it still has a good texture to it, so Burgundy lovers should definitely take note. This gem of a wine has freshness at its core, this stainless steel treated white is filled with yellow and white fruits, dried apricot, minerals and a hint of honeydew.
