A rich and expressive Shiraz from Rickety Bridge Estate in the Franschhoek Valley of South Africa’s Western Cape. Grapes are selected from vineyards in Franschhoek, Wellington and the Breede River Valley — each site contributing to the wine’s layered character.
Tasting Notes:
Opulent dark forest fruit aromas are complemented by spice, white pepper and dark chocolate. The palate is textured and layered with elegant structure, fresh, balanced acidity and subtle oak, while hints of clove and mulberry linger on the finish.
Winemaking:
Grapes are hand‑picked at optimal ripeness, de‑stemmed and fermented with whole berries in open fermenters. After extended skin contact, malolactic fermentation is completed, and the wine is matured in French oak barrels to integrate flavour and structure.
Food Pairing:
Ideal with game, spare ribs, steak, roast beef or spicy lamb dishes.
ABV: 14%
