A fresh and precise expression of Bourgogne Blanc from a long-established family estate based just north of Chablis, where Chardonnay is grown with a focus on purity, balance and regional expression. Produced from vineyards rooted in clay-limestone soils, this is a clean, unoaked white Burgundy that reflects both its cool-climate origins and the domaine’s straightforward, quality-led approach.
Tasting Notes:
Pale gold in the glass, the nose is lifted and delicate with notes of lemon zest, green apple and white flowers, alongside a subtle flinty edge. The palate is crisp and well-defined, showing citrus fruit, pear and a gentle creaminess from lees contact. Bright acidity runs through the wine, giving focus and energy, while a subtle mineral character carries through to a clean, elegant finish.
Winemaking:
Made from Chardonnay and vinified in stainless steel, fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures to preserve freshness and varietal clarity. The wine is aged on fine lees to build a touch of texture and mid-palate weight, with no oak influence, allowing the natural character of the fruit and terroir to remain at the forefront.
Food Pairing:
An excellent aperitif-style white Burgundy, it also pairs beautifully with seafood, shellfish, grilled fish and creamy pasta dishes. Its balance of freshness and subtle texture makes it equally versatile with lighter poultry dishes and fresh salads.
ABV: 12.5%
