Description

A beautifully balanced late harvest wine from the Cadillac appellation in Bordeaux, Château Les Tourelles offers a refined expression of noble sweet winemaking. Sourced from vineyards on limestone slopes, this wine combines natural richness with freshness, delivering a poised and elegant style that reflects the character of this historic sweet wine region.

Tasting Notes:
Golden in colour, the nose is expressive with aromas of citrus peel, ripe apricot and peach, layered with delicate floral notes and a touch of honey. The palate is lusciously textured yet lifted by bright acidity, showing flavours of marmalade, stone fruit and subtle honeyed richness. The finish is smooth, fresh and lingering, maintaining balance and precision throughout.

Winemaking:
Produced from carefully selected late harvest grapes, the wine benefits from optimal ripeness and concentration in the vineyard. Fermentation is carried out under controlled conditions to preserve aromatic clarity, with the natural sweetness balanced by the wine’s inherent acidity. The limestone-based terroir contributes to the wine’s structure and freshness, ensuring an elegant rather than heavy style.

Food Pairing:
An excellent partner for fruit-based desserts, pâtisserie and blue cheeses, as well as foie gras or lightly spiced dishes. It also works beautifully as a dessert in its own right, where its balance of sweetness and acidity can be fully appreciated.

ABV: 13.5%
