Strong structure, maturity and smoothness. Intense cherry red colour with shades of violet and purple accents. Nose: Great aromatic intensity and reminiscences of mature dark fruits, chocolate, species and smoky aromas. Palate: Very harmonious and well-structured, powerful and fleshy. Noble mature tannins, fine acidity and lingering aftertaste.
Clea is a range of wines produced by Vintae from the areas around the Duero, namely Rueda and Ribera del Duero. Stylistically they are clean and modern without being over ripe or too rich but instead are clean, fruit driven wines that are a joy to drink.
In 1999, José Miguel Arambarri, from La Rioja, decided to rebuild his ancestors' business and to plant his first vineyard. Before long there would be many more vineyards, wines and wineries with the incorporation of his sons, José Miguel and Ricardo, with a clear goal: to innovate the wine market. Today Vintae is a wine company with more than 50 employees that continues to grow year after year and so far produces wines in 15 Denominations of Origin.
