Description

A supple and approachable red Bordeaux from Château Les Tourelles, produced by the Darriet family in the Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux area. Based on a Merlot-led blend with Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine combines ripe fruit with gentle structure, offering a well-balanced and accessible expression of modern claret.

Tasting Notes:
Deep ruby in colour, the nose is open and inviting, with aromas of red cherry, raspberry and blackberry, complemented by subtle hints of spice and light cedar. The palate is smooth and rounded, with juicy red and dark fruit supported by soft tannins and a fresh line of acidity. There is a gentle savoury depth through the finish, adding complexity while keeping the overall style easy-drinking and well balanced.

Winemaking:
Grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and vinified with a focus on preserving fruit purity and balance. Fermentation and maturation are carefully managed to retain freshness while allowing the wine to develop texture and integration, resulting in a polished and harmonious final style.

Food Pairing:
A versatile and easy-drinking Bordeaux, well suited to roast meats, hearty stews and grilled dishes. It also pairs comfortably with charcuterie and semi-hard cheeses, making it a reliable choice for everyday dining.

ABV: 13%
