A vibrant, organic expression from the historic Ormanni estate in the heart of Chianti. This wine balances the freshness of Sangiovese fruit with the structure and depth that comes from careful vineyard management and organic cultivation.
Tasting Notes:
Brilliant ruby in colour, the nose shows ripe cherries, redcurrants, and hints of sweet herbs, cedar, and gentle spice. On the palate it is medium-bodied and harmonious, with soft, well-integrated tannins and a long, fresh finish that reflects the vineyard’s unique terroir.
Winemaking:
Made from 100% Sangiovese, organically farmed in the Barberino Val d’Elsa commune, where the vines thrive on clay-limestone soils. Hand-harvested grapes undergo traditional vinification, with temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel and careful ageing to preserve freshness, concentration, and varietal character.
Food Pairing:
Ideal with roasted meats, grilled vegetables, hearty pasta dishes, and aged cheeses. Its balance of fruit and acidity also complements poultry and tomato-based recipes.
