A refined Malbec from Cahors, grown on terraces and limestone scree along the Lot River. Lionel Osmin & Cie, specialists in South-West France wines, produce this cuvée from low-yield, expressive sites, capturing the power of the grape and the elegance of its terroir.
Tasting Notes:
Deep and vibrant, with aromas of black fruits, subtle garrigue herbs and gentle sweet spice. On the palate it is full-bodied yet smooth, combining density with freshness and a soft, rounded mouthfeel. The flavour is pure and direct, offering a long, satisfying finish that reflects both the power and finesse of Malbec.
Winemaking:
Grapes are selected from the most expressive terroirs, where natural drainage and sun exposure concentrate flavour. Carefully vinified to preserve freshness and varietal purity, the wine is unoaked to allow the ripe Malbec character to shine. Low yields and meticulous handling result in intensity, structure and finesse.
Food Pairing:
Pairs beautifully with barbecued or roasted red meats, Sunday roast, sautéed mushrooms, truffled poultry, confit or duck breast, coq au vin, and rib steak. Complements aged cheeses, particularly the regional Rocamadour.
ABV: 13.5%
