A refined expression of Arneis from the Langhe hills of Piedmont, ‘Tre Fie’ is produced by Agricola Marrone, a family estate now in its fourth generation. Based in La Morra, the Marrone family combines traditional vineyard practices with meticulous cellar work, focusing on careful fruit selection and gentle handling to preserve varietal character and regional identity.
Tasting Notes:
Straw yellow in colour with bright reflections, the nose is fresh and floral, offering aromas of citrus, ripe pear and wild flowers. On the palate it is well balanced and elegant, with vibrant acidity supporting flavours of orchard fruit and subtle herbal nuances. The finish is clean, persistent and gently complex, highlighting the naturally expressive character of Arneis.
Winemaking:
The grapes are hand-harvested into small 18kg boxes to protect fruit quality and transported carefully to the winery. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures of around 16°C in stainless steel to maintain freshness, aromatic clarity and complexity. The emphasis is on precision and purity, allowing the distinctive profile of Langhe Arneis to shine.
Food Pairing:
Ideal with light appetisers, salads, vegetable soups, white meats and grilled or baked fish. Its freshness and balance also make it an excellent accompaniment to simple antipasti and delicate pasta dishes.
