Loidana is a finely balanced expression of Priorat from Marco Abella, crafted to reflect both the intensity and the freshness of this dramatic landscape. The vineyards lie on steep, terraced slopes of licorella slate at altitude, where the combination of poor soils and cooler mountain conditions brings clarity, energy and definition to the fruit. Farmed according to biodynamic principles, the wine is a precise and elegant interpretation of the region.
Tasting Notes:
Bright, deep ruby in colour, the nose is expressive and layered, offering aromas of red and black berries—strawberry, cherry and raspberry — alongside floral hints and subtle notes of spice and cedar. The palate is smooth and velvety, with fresh acidity framing the ripe fruit. Well integrated and harmonious, it finishes with poise and a lingering sense of minerality.
