A refined and precise expression of Sancerre from a long-established family domaine, where generations of experience and a focus on traditional vineyard practices combine to produce wines of precision and authenticity. Sourced from limestone and clay soils typical of the appellation, this is a refined and true-to-style Loire Sauvignon Blanc.
Tasting Notes:
Bright and pale in the glass, the nose is fresh and expressive with notes of citrus, green apple and subtle white flowers, alongside a delicate herbal edge. The palate is crisp and focused, showing lemon zest, grapefruit and a gentle flinty minerality. Clean, vibrant and well-balanced, it finishes with a refreshing lift and classic Sancerre finesse.
Winemaking:
The wine is vinified in stainless steel tanks, with slow, temperature-controlled fermentation to allow full aromatic development. It is bottled relatively young to preserve freshness, purity of fruit and the natural expression of the terroir.
Food Pairing:
Serve well chilled as an aperitif, or alongside seafood, shellfish and grilled fish. It is a natural partner for Loire goat’s cheese, particularly Crottin de Chavignol, and also works well with lightly spiced dishes.
