2023 Tempranillo, Palacio del Camino Real, Rioja, Spain

A brief period of oak ageing gives this wine a little more depth than some young Riojas. It's still vibrant and fruity, with notes of blackberry and plum. There is a touch of sweet spice in the background and on the palate it has a lovely softness.
