Description

A vibrant Fleurie from Le Pigeonnier du Chapitre, crafted from Gamay grown on the pink granite soils typical of this renowned Beaujolais cru. Known for its elegance and aromatic finesse, Fleurie offers a more delicate and expressive style, balancing bright fruit with subtle structure.

Tasting Notes:
Bright and lively in colour, the nose is fragrant with fresh red berries and delicate floral notes, particularly peony. The palate is smooth and rounded, with flavours of raspberry and cherry supported by a gentle spice nuance. Fresh yet supple, it shows both charm and elegance, finishing with pleasing length.

Winemaking:
Grapes are harvested by hand and vinified using traditional methods, with fermentation in temperature-controlled open tanks and extended maceration to enhance structure and aromatic expression. The wine is then aged on fine lees in stainless steel for around 10 months, adding texture while preserving freshness and purity of fruit.

Food Pairing:
A versatile partner for grilled meats, particularly lamb or pork, as well as poultry, terrines and soft cheeses. It also pairs well with freshwater fish dishes, and can be enjoyed lightly chilled.

ABV: 12.5%
