A classic Beaujolais Villages from the Caves de Juliénas-Chaintré, crafted from 100% Gamay grown on sandy, granitic hillside vineyards between Jullié, Emeringes and Pruzilly. Sourced from selected parcels on rolling slopes near the crus of Juliénas and Saint-Amour, this cuvée offers a generous and approachable expression of the region.
Tasting Notes:
Bright ruby with purple reflections, the nose is open and expressive, showing aromas of ripe red and dark berries. The palate is supple and rounded, combining juicy cherry and raspberry fruit with a fresh, lively character. Smooth and well-balanced, it finishes with gentle persistence and charm.
Winemaking:
Grapes are harvested by hand and fermented as whole bunches using carbonic maceration for around 7–8 days, enhancing fruit purity and aromatic lift. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures, followed by maturation in tank until bottling in late winter to preserve freshness and vibrancy.
Food Pairing:
Ideal with charcuterie and simple regional dishes. Its fresh, fruit-driven style also makes it an excellent aperitif or a versatile partner for light, informal meals.
