Description

A characterful English sparkling wine from Tuffon Hall in Essex, produced in a Blanc de Noirs style from Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grown on the estate. Made using the traditional method, it offers added depth and richness while retaining the freshness typical of English sparkling wines.

Tasting Notes:
Bright gold in the glass with a fine, persistent mousse, the nose shows a layered mix of red berry notes alongside baked apple, dried fruit and a hint of almond. The palate is rounded and expressive, balancing ripe fruit with fresh acidity, leading to a textured, gently savoury finish with good length.

Winemaking:
Produced using the traditional method with bottle fermentation. Gentle pressing of black-skinned grapes ensures a clear juice, allowing the wine to retain its pale colour while drawing subtle depth and structure from the fruit. Crafted in small batches from estate-grown grapes.

Food Pairing:
A versatile food wine, pairing well with roast poultry, charcuterie, mature cheeses and earthy dishes such as mushroom risotto.

ABV: 11.5%
