Description

A bright and refreshing expression of Aligoté from Burgundy, showcasing the grape’s naturally lively character and crisp, mineral-driven style. Sourced from vineyards planted on chalk and limestone soils, this is a pure and understated white that highlights freshness, precision and everyday drinkability.

Tasting Notes:
Pale in the glass with a delicate sheen, the nose offers subtle floral notes alongside fresh citrus and green apple. The palate is light and zesty, with lemon and orchard fruit flavours carried by vibrant acidity. Clean and focused, it finishes with a crisp, refreshing lift and a gentle mineral edge.

Winemaking:
Produced using traditional methods, the grapes are pressed on arrival at the winery before fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged on fine lees for several months, adding a touch of texture while preserving its natural brightness and purity of fruit.

Food Pairing:
An excellent aperitif and the classic base for a Kir when paired with crème de cassis. It also works beautifully with oysters, grilled fish, fresh salads, vegetable dishes and goat’s cheese, where its crisp acidity complements lighter, delicate flavours.

ABV: 12.5%
