The Iris Malbec from Bodegas Staphyle is a vibrant and approachable expression of Argentina’s flagship grape, grown in the renowned vineyards of Mendoza, including the Ugarteche and Agrelo districts of Luján de Cuyo. The winery was established by the Porretta family, combining traditional roots with modern winemaking to produce wines of excellent value and character.
Tasting Notes:
Bright, plump fruit lies at the heart of this wine, with aromas of ripe plum and fresh raspberry complemented by gentle spice and floral lift. The palate is smooth and fruit‑forward, with soft tannins and a lively, easy‑drinking finish that showcases Mendoza’s classic Malbec character.

Made from 100 % Malbec, the wine is crafted in a style that emphasises fresh fruit expression and approachability, with fermentation and maturation techniques chosen to preserve vibrant flavour and balanced structure.
