Description

Vinhol Oksamitnoe (Villa Tinta) is a family-owned estate and winery, founded in 1998 in the village of Oksamitne, located in the Bolgradsky district, which is near Odesa on the Black Sea. As of 2022, Villa Tinta owns 550 hectares of vineyards. The vineyards sit in their own microclimate and are ideal for the ‘Ukrainian” grapes, Odessa Black and Sukholimansky, which account for the majority of their plantings.

Irsai Oliver is a variety of Hungarian origin. It's a hugely popular style in central Europe and is perfect summer drinking. It has a vibrant 'Muscat' character, with lots of tropical fruit. This is a dry example, with a perfect balance between ripe fruit and vibrant acidity.
