Tasting Notes:
Deep, healthy crimson in colour, the nose is fresh and expressive with bright red and dark berry fruit, subtle black pepper and gentle herbal notes. On the palate, it is light-bodied yet intense, with juicy cherry and blackberry, lively acidity and a bone-dry, appetising finish. The style is vibrant, honest and beautifully drinkable, with classic Syrah character delivered in a fresh, unforced way.
Winemaking:
The story of this wine is written on the label: pruned by hand, tended by hand, weeded by goose, harvested by hand, sorted by hand, and vinified by hand – hence the dream of a tractor. Made from 100% Syrah grown near the Pyrenees, the wine is produced using low-intervention methods, with fermentation and ageing in stainless steel to preserve purity of fruit and natural freshness. The focus is on minimal handling and maximum expression of the vineyard.
Food Pairing:
Ideal with charcuterie, grilled vegetables, roast chicken, mushroom dishes and lighter red meat plates. Its freshness also makes it a great match for herb-driven Mediterranean dishes and can be served slightly chilled in warmer weather.
