Description

A characterful dry white from the Jurançon appellation in southwest France, where the foothills of the Pyrenees provide ideal conditions for the local Manseng varieties. Domaine Corty specialises in wines that express the distinctive character of Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng, grapes well known in the region for producing aromatic whites with both freshness and texture.

Tasting Notes:
Pale gold in colour, the nose opens with aromas of citrus, peach and apricot, with hints of grapefruit and delicate floral notes. The palate is lively and well-defined, balancing bright citrus with layers of ripe stone fruit. A gentle texture adds depth, leading to a clean, persistent finish.

Winemaking:
Produced from a blend of Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng, varieties that thrive in the Jurançon climate and contribute both aromatic intensity and natural acidity. Careful vinification preserves the purity of fruit and the distinctive character of these local grapes, resulting in a wine that reflects its regional origin and varietal expression.

Food Pairing:
Excellent with seafood, grilled fish, or poultry dishes, and particularly well suited to goat’s or sheep’s milk cheeses. Its balance of fruit and freshness also makes it an appealing aperitif.

ABV: 12.5%
