Crafted by the family-run Domaine La Lôyane in Rochefort-du-Gard, Cuvée L’éclipse is produced from young Grenache vines planted on stony clay-limestone soils at the foot of Notre-Dame Abbey. The estate combines careful vineyard management with precise, temperature-controlled winemaking to express the purity and freshness of the fruit.
Tasting Notes
Vivid ruby red with fuchsia highlights, the nose is lifted with aromas of fresh strawberries, raspberries, and red berries. On the palate, the wine is juicy and supple, framed by smooth tannins and a velvety texture. The finish is refreshing and approachable, offering a wine of immediate enjoyment.
Winemaking
Hand-harvested from vines approximately ten years old, the grapes undergo vinification in stainless steel vats with controlled temperatures. The wine is aged in stainless steel to preserve vibrancy and varietal character, resulting in a fresh, fruit-forward style that showcases the natural expression of Grenache.
