Description

A vibrant and expressive Mâcon-Chaintré from the southern edge of Burgundy, where Chardonnay thrives on limestone and clay-rich soils that bring both freshness and subtle generosity of fruit. Produced within the Mâconnais, this wine reflects the warmer southern influence of the region while retaining a distinctly clean, mineral-driven profile.

Tasting Notes:
Bright golden in the glass, the nose is open and aromatic with ripe orchard fruit, citrus peel and delicate white blossom. The palate is rounded and supple, showing peach, pear and lemon notes, balanced by lively acidity and a gentle mineral backbone. Lees ageing adds subtle texture and depth, leading to a smooth, persistent finish with a refined sense of balance.

Winemaking:
Made from 100% Chardonnay, the grapes are harvested from carefully selected vineyard parcels and pressed immediately after arrival at the winery. Fermentation takes place at low temperatures in stainless steel to preserve freshness and aromatic clarity. The wine is then aged on its lees for several months to build texture and enhance complexity while maintaining a pure, fruit-led style.

Food Pairing:
An excellent aperitif-style white Burgundy, it also pairs beautifully with light starters, salads, seafood, grilled fish and simple poultry dishes. Its balance of freshness and gentle richness makes it a versatile partner for a wide range of modern cuisine.

ABV: 13%
