The wine is crafted from four vineyards planted on different soils – white, grey, red and black – demonstrating how terroir shapes flavour and texture. Sur lie ageing adds depth and a creamy nuance while retaining the variety’s natural freshness and mineral edge.
Tasting Notes:
Straw gold in colour, the nose reveals apricot, acacia blossom and a subtle hint of spice. On the palate it is full flavoured and juicy, with a refreshing mineral-driven finish. The lees ageing contributes gentle texture and complexity without compromising the wine’s vibrant character.
Winemaking:
Produced from grapes sourced across four distinct Istrian soil types, the 4 Terre concept showcases the influence of terroir. Fermentation and sur lie maturation enhance texture and depth, while minimal intervention preserves the varietal purity of Malvazija Istarska and its mineral expression.
