A vibrant and fresh red Burgundy, perfect for drinking young. The emphasis is on red fruits with just a hint of toasty oak alongside.
The grapes for this wine come from 2 parcels in the heart of Mercurey. The soil is clay and limestone and the grapes are hand harvested. Grapes spend 10-15 days fermenting in the tank before being put into French oak barrels (20% new). Indigenous yeasts are used for fermentation and the wine spends 10 months in barrel before being blended and bottled.
