A youthful and vibrant organic Shiraz from South Australia, made from fruit grown in ACO-certified organic vineyards planted on flat red soils. The warm, dry 2021 vintage allowed even ripening, producing smaller berries with higher sugar levels and a good yield.
Tasting Notes:
The wine has a deep plum red colour. The nose is dominated by red berries, with subtle vanilla notes. On the palate, dark fruit is supported by moderate tannins and a gentle hint of white pepper, leading to a medium finish with lingering mulberry notes.
Winemaking:
The wine was matured for nine months in older American oak, allowing the fruit character to remain prominent while adding subtle texture and complexity.
Food Pairing:
Pairs beautifully with BBQ dishes, spicy roast aubergine, beef casserole, and hard cheeses.
