2022 Bourgogne Rouge, Domaine Gaëlle et Jérôme Meunier, Burgundy, France

This is a hugely classy Pinot Noir that is head and shoulders above many basic Bourgogne Rouges. Not only does it pack in a lot of ripe fruit, but on the nose you cannot help but be enticed by the floral notes that jump out of the glass. The tannins are gentle, but there is a defined backbone to the wine making it a serious accompaniment to red meats.
