Description

A refined and elegant Crémant de Limoux from Pierre & Antonin, produced in one of France’s oldest sparkling wine regions in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Crafted using the traditional method from a blend led by Chardonnay, complemented by Mauzac and Chenin Blanc, this cuvée expresses purity, freshness and regional character.

Tasting Notes:
Pale gold in colour with fine, persistent bubbles, the nose is fresh and delicate, offering aromas of green apple, citrus zest and white flowers, with a subtle hint of orchard fruit. The palate is crisp and precise, with bright acidity supporting flavours of apple, lemon and a gentle mineral note. The finish is clean, dry and refreshing, with a refined, elegant profile.

Winemaking:
Produced by the traditional method with secondary fermentation in bottle. The grapes are hand-harvested from vineyards in the upper Aude Valley, with the blend typically composed of around 70% Chardonnay, 15% Mauzac and 15% Chenin Blanc. Crafted in a brut nature style, the wine shows minimal dosage, emphasising purity, structure and finesse.

Food Pairing:
An excellent apéritif, also well suited to seafood, shellfish and light starters. Its freshness and precision make it particularly effective with oysters, simple salads and delicate dishes.

ABV: 12%
