Description

Hornhead Malbec is a soft-textured and approachable red from the Pays d’Oc in southern France. Crafted for balance and harmony, it shows how Malbec can shine outside its more famous South American expression.

Tasting Notes:
Deep ruby in colour, the nose is rich with dark fruits, including black cherry and plum, lifted by subtle notes of coffee, cocoa, and a hint of rosemary. The palate is round and juicy, with smooth tannins and a pleasingly harmonious finish. Elegant yet generous, it is immediately enjoyable and versatile at the table.

Winemaking:
Grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness and gently vinified to preserve freshness and fruit purity. Minimal intervention allows the natural character of the Malbec to come through, highlighting both the sun-soaked climate and the soils of this hidden corner of southern France.

Food Pairing:
Pairs beautifully with chargrilled meats, roasted vegetables, or semi-mature cheeses. Also delightful on its own as a generous, easy-drinking red.

ABV: 13%
