Le Professeur - named in honour of the creator of the Marselan grape, Paul Truel, a leading ‘Ampleographer’ (Ampleography is the science of identifying, naming and classifying vines and grape varieties). It's a cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache.
The grenache lineage is clear to taste here, with vibrant red fruit on the palate. It's a little lighter than some souther French Grenaches, and it makes for a slightly easier drinking style.
