Made with minimal intervention and vinified in amphorae, it reflects both the island’s rich vinicultural heritage and a contemporary organic approach to winemaking.
Tasting Notes:
Intense ruby in colour, the bouquet reveals ripe wild berries and fermented fruit aromas, gently lifted by a hint of vanilla. The palate is fresh yet full-bodied, with vibrant red fruit, smooth, velvety tannins and a lively finish that retains bright acidity and balance typical of Syrah from Sicily’s warm climate.
Winemaking:
Made from 100% organically grown Syrah, the grapes are fermented and aged in traditional amphorae (anfora). This ancient vessel allows gentle oxygenation that softens tannins without imparting external flavours, preserving purity of fruit and the expressive qualities of the variety.
Food Pairing:
Pairs beautifully with grilled and roasted meats, tomato-based pasta dishes, Mediterranean stews and medium-intensity cheeses. Its vibrant acidity and rich fruit also complement charcuterie and hearty antipasti.
