Description

Cave de l’Ormarine’s Terrasses de la Mer Picpoul de Pinet is a bright and refreshing white from the sun-drenched Languedoc coast. Renowned for their centuries-old expertise in the Pinet appellation, the cooperative crafts wines that showcase the crisp acidity, vibrant citrus character, and minerality this classic varietal is celebrated for.

Tasting Notes:
Pale straw in colour, the nose is fragrant with notes of lemon zest, green apple, pear, and subtle white florals. The palate is bone dry, lively, and structured, with ripe melon and citrus flavours layered over a hint of almond. A crisp, mineral finish completes the refreshing and elegant profile.

Winemaking:
The grapes are harvested early to preserve natural acidity, destemmed, gently pressed, and cooled to 10 °C. The juice is statically clarified and fermented at low temperatures for 10–15 days in stainless steel tanks. After fermentation, the wine is settled for two weeks before bottling to ensure clarity and freshness.

Food Pairing:
Perfect with oysters, shellfish, grilled fish, or summery salads. A classic Mediterranean white, it is also delightful on its own on a warm day.

ABV: 12%
