The 2023 Sottano Torrontés comes from the Pedriel vineyards of Mendoza, situated at 1,000 m in the Andes foothills. The region’s warm days and cool nights produce grapes with bright aromatics, vibrant acidity, and refreshing freshness, capturing the signature elegance of Sottano’s white wines.
Tasting Notes:
Pale straw with green highlights, this Torrontés offers a fragrant bouquet of citrus peel, white flowers, and a touch of tropical notes. The palate is lively and textured, with bright grapefruit and lemon zest balanced by crisp acidity and a clean, refreshing finish.
Winemaking:
Grapes were hand-selected and fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures to preserve aromatic purity. No oak is used, allowing the natural floral and citrus character to shine.
Food Pairing:
An ideal match for fresh seafood, ceviche, light fish dishes, and aromatic Asian cuisine such as lemongrass or ginger-based dishes.
